Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of pursecorner.com and any order you place through it. The site is operated by PurseCorner (“PurseCorner”, “we”, “us”), registered address available on request from team@pursecorner.com. By browsing the site or placing an order you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who may buy

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract. If you are ordering on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

We ship to the countries listed in our Shipping Policy. We may decline to supply any address, and we may refuse or cancel an order — see section 4.

2. Our products

Every item sold here is an original PurseCorner design. We do not manufacture, sell, or imitate any other company’s products, and no third-party trade marks, logos or monograms appear on our goods or in our marketing. If you believe anything on this site infringes your rights, write to team@pursecorner.com with the details and we will investigate promptly.

Our goods are made from natural materials. Leather, suede and waxed canvas vary in grain, depth of colour and marking from hide to hide and roll to roll. These variations are characteristic of the material and are not defects. Screens also render colour differently; product photography is indicative rather than exact.

Dimensions and weights are given to the nearest tenth of an inch or pound and may vary slightly because the goods are made by hand.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude sales tax, VAT, duties and shipping unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and shipping are added at checkout and shown before you place your order.

We take care to price accurately, but errors happen. If we discover a pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will contact you before processing to ask whether you want to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will never charge you more than the price you agreed without your consent.

We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders already placed. Promotional prices apply only while the promotion runs and cannot be applied retrospectively.

4. How an order is formed

1. Placing an order is an offer to buy. It is not an acceptance by us.
2. The confirmation shown on screen and sent by email acknowledges we have received your order. It is not acceptance either.
3. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch notice. If an order covers several items, the contract covers only the items actually dispatched.

We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch if:

• the item is out of stock or has been withdrawn;
• we identified a pricing or description error;
• we cannot verify the payment or delivery details, or the order appears fraudulent;
• the order appears to be for resale rather than personal use, or the quantity is abnormal;
• we cannot lawfully ship to your address.

If we cancel, we refund anything you have paid in full. That is the limit of our liability for a cancelled order.

5. Payment

Card payment is currently being connected. Until it is live, orders are confirmed on the site and we email a secure payment link within 24 hours. Nothing is charged when you place the order, and your items are reserved until payment is completed or the link expires.

We do not store full card numbers on our servers. When card payment goes live, it will be handled by a regulated payment provider under its own terms and privacy notice.

Title in the goods passes to you when we have received payment in full. Risk passes to you on delivery.

6. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and start from dispatch rather than from when you order. Full detail is in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You are responsible for giving a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not liable for orders delayed or lost because of an address error, an unattended delivery you authorised, or a recipient’s refusal to accept a parcel.

7. Returns, refunds and your cancellation rights

You may return most items within 30 days. The conditions, exclusions and process are in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Our 30-day policy is offered in addition to that right, not instead of it. Consumers elsewhere retain every right their local law provides, including rights relating to goods that are faulty or not as described.

8. Warranty

Our goods carry a 2-year warranty against manufacturing faults, set out in the Warranty & Repairs policy. It sits alongside, and does not replace, the rights your local consumer law gives you.

9. Using this site

You agree not to:

• use the site unlawfully, or in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s use of it;
• scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data, or use automated means to place orders;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers or connected systems;
• introduce malware, or conduct security testing without our written permission;
• submit a review or message that is false, abusive, discriminatory, or that identifies a third party without their consent.

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, or cancel orders, where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to team@pursecorner.com rather than disclosing it publicly; we will not pursue good-faith researchers who do.

10. Reviews and anything else you send us

You keep ownership of any review, photograph or message you send us. By sending it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our products and marketing, and to adapt it for formatting. You confirm the content is yours to give and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

We publish reviews as written, including critical ones. We remove only abuse, spam, unlawful content, or material that identifies a third party. We do not edit reviews to improve them or delete them for being negative. Ask us to withdraw yours at any time and we will.

11. Our intellectual property

The PurseCorner name, logo, product designs, photography, and the text and layout of this site are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, design and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Everything else — republication, commercial use, or use of our designs or imagery to sell goods — requires our written permission.

12. Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including, for consumers, liability under product liability and statutory consumer-rights legislation.

Subject to that:

• we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity;
• we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed;
• our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

The site is provided “as is”. We do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, extreme weather, industrial action, or failures of the internet.

13. Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and we keep the date of the last change at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the site.

15. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at team@pursecorner.com — most problems are resolved within a day or two. If we cannot resolve it, you may be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution or ombudsman scheme in your country; nothing here prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of the country where you live.

16. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours if our business is sold, provided your rights are not reduced.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PurseCorner is registered, as stated on request. If you are a consumer, you also have the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and nothing here removes that.
