Description
A clean rectangular shoulder bag with a fold-over flap and a single turn-lock. The eight-inch drop is deliberately short so the bag sits high under the arm and stays where you put it rather than swinging at hip height.
The calfskin is smooth and lightly waxed, which gives it a soft sheen that deepens with handling. It marks more readily than pebbled leather — that is the trade for the finish, and most of it burnishes out under a thumb.
Under the flap there is a slip pocket that fits a phone, and the main compartment is divided in two by a rigid centre wall. The strap detaches entirely if you want to carry it as a clutch.

Beautiful, but it does mark
Be honest with yourself about smooth leather. Mine picked up a few marks in the first month. Most of them rubbed out with a thumb like they said, but not all. Still gorgeous and I would buy it again in black.

The suede lining is a lovely touch
Small thing, but opening the bag and seeing suede rather than shiny polyester makes it feel considered. Sage is a beautiful, unusual colour.
