The Meridian was drawn around a fifteen-inch laptop and everything that travels with it. The padded sleeve sits against the back panel where the weight belongs, and a trolley pass-through on the rear lets the bag ride on a suitcase handle instead of your shoulder.
The cross-hatch textured leather is the reason this bag still looks presentable after two years of being set down on floors. It resists scratching in a way smooth calfskin simply does not, and it wipes clean.
Organisation is deliberate rather than exhaustive: a padded sleeve, a zip pocket, two pen loops, a key leash and one open section for the rest. A full-length zip closes the whole thing.
